Waited over 45 mins for a bacon sandwich and a breakfast. In the end we had to leave. Definitely issue as everyone was waiting over 40 mins for food. Plenty of front of house staff with nothing to serve 🤷‍♀️

I phoned to book, staff member was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the afternoon tea was quite disappointing. There were only 3 small quarter sandwiches with crusts left on. The fillings were very poor, one cheese, one ham and one tuna with cucumber. Nothing special at...all compared to when I had afternoon tea there before lockdown. I expected better for £14.95!More

The staff that work there are all miserable. There moody and dam right rude. The customers that go in there are pretentious and rude and think there something there not. The food is below average and over priced for what it is.. not a nice...atmosphere and would never return again , nor would I recommend it to anyone. Needs a good restructure of menu, staff etcMore

Sorry but feel that the quality of ingredients has gone down with the meat and bread quality. Also to pay an extra £3 for a coffee on top of the £9 breakfast is not cheap so may not return for breakfast in a hurry.

We booked the Festive fare, had to wait more than half an hour for our starters as there was a large party on another table. Very little sauce on the prawn cocktail, soup was lovely though. One member of our party is a vegetarian but...she felt left out when we found out the roast potatoes that were brought to the table we’re not suitable for vegetarians. We sat on a table near the log burner which was lovely but with the door to outside being continually opened when new customers arrived and no doors to the shop or greenhouse area, it was rather cold and draughty. The log burner was allowed to go out and towards the end of our meal we were really quite cold. Moving forward I would suggest doors to the shop and a large heated conservatory built on the door wall to help on cold days. Plus roast potatoes that are suitable for all!More

Met with friends for afternoon tea. It was absolutely lovely. The table was set up with traditional cups, saucers and pretty table cloth. The food was excellent and scones to die for. Topped off by friendly helpful staff. Top marks....thank you!

Car park on site but probably busy when the garden centre is open. We went for afternoon tea for the 2pm slot. It was starting to quieten off by then. Lovely afternoon tea and great service. Will definitely be back for another.

Arrived at 4.25 to be told the cafe was shut. The is despite the fact that the web site and a sign on the way in said they were open until 5. When we complained to a manager we were told last orders 4.30. it...wasn't even quite that then. He went to the cafe to check and returned to say we could have tea and cake but no coffee as they have finished cleaning the coffee machine. This meant they must have cleaned it before their own last orders time! We had been before and had to wait ages to be shown to a table. Needless to say, we won't visit again.More

I was greeted at the door by a very friendly waitress who managed to find me a table, even though it was extremely busy. Service with a smile - it’s a delight to see it. My other half had the lamb burger which was on...the specials board and I had the quiche. We were impressed with the quality of the food and the chef was very generous with the portions!! The cakes looked so nice, we had to buy some to take away!! Would highly recommend this restaurant!!More

No problem with the wheelchair. Don't know about dogs but it's a garden center and there's plenty of seating outside so I can't see dogs being a problem :)
