Old fashioned but traditionally attractive. Cramped and sometimes hot. Patron has to be everywhere at once but manages very well. Modest local food. Good and reasonable house wines. A good experience.

In total we've been there at least once a year. Lovely setting, service is great even if it's just one person working the floor, food was amazing. We booked for lunch and he was turning people away mostly French which is a great sign! Top marks!

Following recommendations on TA we tried this restaurant. What a find! Lovely cosy atmosphere, and not at all rushed, you have your table for the whole evening. The food was absolutely delicious and extremely good value for money. We had the 20 euro menu, and had fish soup/pate, steak with sauce/ fillet of white fish in sauce and excellent choice... More

This small restaurant is used by locals and visitors and provides good french cooking at very good value prices. The set menus are 15.50, 20 & 29 euros and the two cheapest that we sampled were both very good. Mussels, fish soup, rabbit terrine as starters were excellent and the steaks, fish and fish stew were all excellent mains. Desserts... More

A cosy little restaurant serving lots of French classics. It was Sunday night and it was full. Set menus at 15E and 20E were good value and a la carte options were available. Good sweet mussels, Fish Terrine, steak frite, Boulabaise type stew,Charcuterie, , skate. creme brulee, cheese plus other things on offer for dessert. A good choice of dishes... More

Recommended to us this quaint small restaurant did not disappoint. Extremely attentive waiter/owner who spoke good English was very helpful. An excellent 3 course meal for 8 elderly golfers was enjoyed by all. All reasonably priced. We will be back.

Small old style restaurant in a side road but very close to centre. Went for set menus - good variety and reasonable priced. Good value. The one waitress was amazing and worked like a Trojan to give excellent service.

We found this restaurant and then checked it out on TA to see what the reviews were like and decided to go with it. I am glad we did as we had a really lovely meal at a very good price. We chose one of the set menus for 20 Euro and were not disappointed! We had fish soup which... More

Tucked away down a side street this is an old traditional french restaurant serving excellent traditional french food. Half the customers appeared to be French which says it all. Staff friendly. Prices very sensible (€15.50 menu is great). Give it a try and enjoy!

Lovely family run restaurant. Great food . Ate here twice in a four day visit. Not to be missed . The skate is the best I have eaten.
