The staff are probably the best thing about this “beach club”. Very attentive and friendly. They work really hard to ensure customers are looked after and helped (moving many an umbrella!).
We paid €50 for a bed and got two little bottles of water and a little fruit bowl. They should stop the fruit bowl and provide a big bottle of water really as guests will get more from that than 4 strawberries and a few blueberries. You get two towels each and the beds are lovely - especially compared to Agua Qlub down the beach who are charging the same price but no water, no towels.
The air conditioning unit needs sorting as it’s really really loud. Not great if you’re trying to relax.
The restaurant is ok - again like most places in Vilamoura overpriced average food. The goats cheese salad is good but way overpriced and the quesadillas were nice but don’t come with anything. Lunch for two with two alcoholic drinks each cost €90.
It’s a nice part of the beach, the staff are amazing and the beds are nice but don’t have expectations of Nikki beach etc.

The restaurant is well located across the road from the 5 star Tivoli Marina Hotel which is one of the finest resort facilities in the Algarve. The Purabeach is jointly operated with the hotel so all food and drinks can be charged to our room. It is beautifully decorated in chic white so producing a very chilled effect. We really liked the ambience and friendly service from staff dressed in smart but casual uniforms.
My starter was a delicious plate of deep fried calamari with dried pork slices in the fashion of Spanish hams, With salad and dressing, this proved a good choice.
The head waiter showed us the "catch of the day" from the chiller and we chose a 1.0kg + Sea Bream simply grilled. My wife had chips and vegetables while I took rice and chopped salad. The fish was well dissected and so we found not a single bone, just lovely moist flesh,
Total price including wine and some scoops of ice cream to finish came to around 200eus. Well worth the price

Spent the day at Purobeach (beach not pool) and booked a Balinese bed for two. From start to finish staff were very attentive and we were well looked after throughout. One of our party suffers with an allergy to nuts and this was noted proactively on our arrival and also handled with care when ordering food which is hugely appreciated.
Would absolutely recommend if looking for a chilled, hassle free treat for the day. (The above can be said for the restaurant which we went to that evening also).

We were really looking forward to a late lunch to celebrate the last day of our holiday. However, service from the start was appalling. Very rude front of house staff, who basically didn’t want to sit us down and made it almost awkward (even though we did have a booking). Then when we did actually get to sitting down we sat there for 20 minutes with not one person offering us even a menu let alone taking a drink/food order. I do understand that if a place is busy that staff can be over run. However, we felt that the establishment didn’t want us to be there, so we duly obliged and left. I have been to Nikki Beach’s and Ocean’s in Spain and around the world and Purobeach is trying to replicate but it’s a very poor relation and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I would advise people to avoid this place at all costs. I can’t provide a comprehensive review as we left within 30 mins, after being completely ignored at our table. From the very beginning, the front of house member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful! Once we were at our seat, no one acknowledged us despite trying to capture the attention of around 15 waiters/waitresses at the bar. We asked for the menu and the drinks menu was thrown on our table and they walked away, no one then came back to take any order or give us an actual food menu!! Apart from the music, the atmosphere was dead and not friendly at all. I thought these places were meant to be the counterpart of Nikki Beach, Oceana etc... it is a very, very poor relation. I heard from others that they had a similar experience and were truly let down after trying to organise birthday celebrations events etc. This is all really quite shocking given the extortionate money being charged.

Paid extra with tivoli hotel for access for 6 days. Staff really friendly and patient as some customers were not aware that you have to pay to use . Hotel guests can go at 10-12 pm to access before opened up for general paying public who wish to book. You get the sun beds all day so you can leave and come back as you wish. Enicia was a pleasant sight most mornings with her welcome and chats as she booked you in and took you personally to your sunbeds. Leo and the team were switched on to customers and remembered orders very well even on your next visits. Tentative service with a smile from all the team. Complimentary fruit and water is adequate and the menu and drinks are not over priced for the location and service.
Only slight negative was that even if you were booked in for all the days there was no process to give you the same sunbed on each day if you wished to return daily. We moved each day but were on the same row but the option to retain a preferred sunbed would assist . Great friendly staff and music in the background was pleasant rather than loud.

So we visited on a Saturday in October (beachfront only was open) and booked sun beds a few rows back from the waters edge (recommended by the hostess) a few days before. To say service was slow was an understatement as soon as it hit lunchtime we waited circa 20 mins for someone to take a drinks order. you wouldn’t have minded so much but staff didn’t come down to where we were at all so you had to physically try & get someone’s attention for ages. Now for the killer - sea gulls. We ordered food & it was the most uncomfortable experience ever. Us & the sun beds next to us were surrounded, they swooped down on the sunbed beside us & took their food. It was awful. No staff to be seen. After we finished my partner had to physically go up with the empty dishes to get the seagulls away from us (again no sign of staff to clear them). We then left. Wouldn’t return to the beachfront

If you come to The Algarve you should come to Purobeach in Vilamoura!
It’s an amazing place in a great location… right on the beach front with plenty sun and right beside the marina of Vilamoura where you can see plenty of boats coming in/out of the harbour.
The staff are absolutely brilliant. The 3 guys who were floating about serving food/drinks can’t do any more for you and are so helpful.
We had a bed which was enough, think it’s around €50 which is worth it as you get it from 12pm-7pm!
When I’m back in the Algarve I’ll be back here

I have been visiting Puro Beach each year for over 5 years now and this was by far the best visit. We visited for dinner one evening and had a day on the beach. On both occasions the staff could not do enough for use. I have to say on previous visits I would have only scored a 3.
The fish was outstanding and our waiter went out of his way to get a bottle of wine that we wanted and was not in stock at the bar but in the hotel.
Thanks for a great visit Puro you have restored my faith this year.

We went for lunch here on my birthday and my husband and I shared a seabass catch of the day which was cooked beautifully! So fresh and lovely views of the ocean. Staff were great too and music nice and chilled. Really enjoyed and would highly recommend!

We came to Villamoura for my girlfriends birthday. Wanted to find somewhere a bit special and purobeach didn’t dissapoint. We had sunbeds by the pool one day, then I booked the daybed the next day and feel it was great value for money compared to other beach clubs you’d find in ibiza etc.
From the amazing spaces for both the pool and the beach club, to the food and drinks and the really friendly/helpful staff, great vibe with the Balaeric music and the djs later on in the day couldn’t of asked for more.
Special mention for Patricia with all the extra touches and Messi who looked after us on the beach.
Couldn’t recommend enough and we’ll sure to be coming back in the future :)

We hired 2 x royal beds as these were only options. Asked if we could change the included champagne as we aren’t big fans of it. Told no - I was shocked at the actual location of the club. It was essentially beds on the beach, no pool, music couldn’t be heard, and no atmosphere whatsoever. I questioned how they could charge €200 per bed. Anyway, I felt a bit better when the hostess confirmed to me that my food and beverage spend would be deducted from the bed cost. However, every time we ordered they would bring a bill. Even though I explained I’d been told it would be credited they demanded payment. Food was ok to be honest, drinks were average. Service was terrible. Nikki beach kills this place. I would save your money and find a beach club that is ran properly.

Booked two sun beds on the beach costing €80 for the day. Beautiful setting however service left a lot to be desired. Other than the welcome drinks we didn’t get any service for the entire day. Every time we wanted a drink we had to go to the restaurant to get somebody to come over, which then took another 10 minutes for somebody to come over and take our order. Plenty of staff stood around doing absolutely nothing in the building but rarely came down to the sun beds to take orders. Would expect a lot more for the price we paid. Underwhelmed.

Here you pay for the setting and the name. The food quality is not at all on par with the pricetag and the service is not at all personal. It is all fancy looking but with no soul. Slow service. 1.30 hours wait from order to main course… and no drinks offered during the wait… Manager in suit overlooks the venue, but clearly misses to see the guests. Spend your money better somewhere else more genuine if you are not a fan of a “big hotel industry” feel.

We hired two luxury beds for a family of 4. Slightly decadent but it was boiling hot and we couldn't face lying on the sand. The reception staff were really helpful,
Free water, car parking and a bowl of fruit comes with it. You get a bit pestered by random goods sellers but not that intrusive.
We had lunch which was v nice, service was ok.
Afternoon drinks were average and expensive - E13 for a "jungle juice" which was served in a basic water glass and whilst tasty v poor value for money.
But what makes it a 5* experience for us was how they helped us with a minor emergency. Son had hurt his toe whilst in water, we thought he was exaggerating the pain but the waiter saw us from afar and came running over. He knew it was a spider fish bite and ran to get a bowl of very hot water for son to put his foot in. We had never heard of it but the speed of the waiter meant son was fine and pain went very quickly. FRANCO's speed of action and ability to go the extra mile saved our son from a few hours pain and a ruined day. He also had the lifeguard come over to double check. Having staff like him makes all the difference. Hope they realise what an asset they have!
