From the first class food. To the friendly first class service and the price is quite astounding . Do not be put off by the price you will look at the menu board and say that can't be good it's too cheap. Far from it...More
We brought a group to fisherman’s shack twice over new year. Carla looked after us ably assisted by two lovely men.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this restaurant is inside a tired little shopping mall. It is a hidden gem - Carla, who runs the show - is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food is really fresh and tasty. We have a gluten/dairy intolerant...More
After reading reviews on Trip Advisor decided to try this restaurant. So glad we did. Food was amazing. We had king prawn piri piri and sole with meunière sauce and both dishes were fantastic. Good desserts too. Had a bottle of house wine which was...More

Obviously depends how mobile you are but probably be about 10-15 minutes walk if you go along seafront. Despite Liam's comments, well worth it. Surprised at Liam's comments as I've been to the restaurant many times and never had a bad meal although could see why he may think head waitress was rude (if it was Carla) but I think she's a scream.
