This place was so disappointing. They shouldn’t not have been serving if they had missed the delivery of food this morning, had one chef and one waitress on. The food was as shocking to be expected as it’s a greene king pub. They shouldn’t have...More

We enjoyed a good chat in a quiet part of this pub and enjoyed a very good bar lunch, traditional food, reasonable portions and friendly service was very acceptable. If you like quiet spots, as I do, this is a perfect setting by the river

We lunched there only because Maisie's opposite was closed! Reasonable staff and food, but nothing special. Bit expensive for average pub grub. Summer might be better.
