Lovely pub in a delightful setting. Excellent food well above the usual pub standard. Really helpful staff and very dog friendly which is a must for us!

We had a lovely lunch here. The food was excellent and the service was really friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely come back and I recommend it to future diners.

My husband booked a table for lunch on a Saturday, we had a drink outside first in one of the covered areas. We ate lunch at a table inside. I had the minute steak with frites and my husband had the feather steak, both meals...were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection all washed down with a lovely bottle of red. Before we left we shared the sticky toffee pudding which was the perfect end. Highly recommend for good quality pub grub reasonably priced in a lovely locationMore

I've been meaning to go to Marney's for a while, but visited this Sunday and was impressed. The menu was a bit limited, particularly for children, but the food was good. Good quality ingredients. Little but pricey but would visit again.

Delicious Sunday roast beef meal and vegetarian option. Would have given a higher review if we hadn't had to wait so long for the main course. Waitress Mia was outstanding. Extremely attentive, provided cozy blankets and checked in on us constantly. It was our first...visit and we we will be back. Kudos to the chef as well!!More

Unfortunately Marney's did not provide the best experience this time, Outside , under cover , no heating on , service very slow, booked for 7pm ,got main cousre at 9pm. Half things on menu off, and a description of ham ,egg and chips turned out...to be thick slices of salty gammon steaks, one fried gg and chips but with 3 dollops of mustard in the dried up peas. Chef trying to be chefy!! Very disappointed in the meal overall. Come on Marney's , I know you can do better !More

A really great Sunday roast. Proper portions of well prepared veg and meat with the trimmings you would expect. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed with hard working bar staff who knew their customers. Very child friendly and just a very nice...British pub that’s not trying to be anything other than a great pub with good grub and nice people. Can’t wait to go again.More

Omg, just been to this little hidden gem for first time and can't wait to go back. Staff so friendly and helpful. Little bit of wait for them to take our order, but didn't care as well worth the wait. Food came and quickly went,...not a bit left. This is a place to go. Once finished meal there is a lovely pond to stretch your legs opposite.More

Marney’s is our local pub since moving to the area and we’ve always had a lovely time each time we’ve visited. I had always tried to get a table on the decking area and was so pleased to get one for when my family were...visiting. When we arrived, I was disappointed and surprised that we had been given a table at the front of the pub. When I questioned what happened to the decking table that I’d booked, the staff were looking a little sheepish….eventually I was told that our table was changed earlier in the day. When I asked why, no one could give me an explanation. I could see the people sitting at our table and wondered if they might be old time regulars. The staff offered us a free round of drinks as compensation but I don’t think its acceptable to give someone else a table that I’d specifically booked. It all turned out ok in the end as those people left 45 mins after our original booking so we got to sit there eventually. The service and food was excellent which made up for the change of table. I can’t help think however if I’d booked for a special event or party….it would have been a serious let down. I’d like to think all customers are valued and a booking is a booking….no bumping off people for regulars!More
