Had another lovely evening at Marney’s! The new year has brought in pizza nights on a Friday and Saturday night. My particular favourite is the camenbert and caramelised onion. They are serving meat and veggie options. I sampled margarita which is always a winner and...More

We had never thought of this local pub as a "food pub" but we had a look at the menu and it looked inviting. It is a small but cosy old fashioned traditional pub with a choice of ales but they clearly have someone in...More

I've eaten here several times and whilst I've never been disappointed, I've also never walked away for the place eager to tell everyone about it.

After going on a dog walk around Esher the only place you want to stop is Marneys! 100% dog friendly so Betty (our cockerpoo) got herself a biscuit on arrival while myself and my Mum enjoyed a glass of prosecco. To start we shared a...More

Lots of outdoor seating and reasonably priced food. Good portions too! Nothing nicer than sitting in this garden on a summers evening. Welcomes dogs and kids.

Always good service and lovely food. The last trip we were lucky to be entertained by some wonderful music - the atmosphere was lovely and we had an excellent meal from the BBQ.

Great spot for a summers eve drink, staff were very friendly, we had food which was very tasty. Bit pricey but a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere is worth the price.

Description
A proper English country pub that oozes old-fashioned charm, low-beamed ceilings, wooden farmhouse tables and cosy fireplace.Overlooking a pond with an attractive church on its far bank and the public golf course beyond, the pub does indeed have a village feel, but it's also easily accessible from central London with fast trains from Waterloo to Esher taking only 20 minutes. If you are planning a day trip to Hampton Court, it's worth the five-minute drive down the road. Our home-made food is tasty and tempting; the type you just want to get stuck into on a winter's day - soup of the day, deep-fried camembert, hot baguettes, steak and ale pie, chilli, not to mention our popular Sunday roast - but summer weekends are also filled with barbecues and jugs of Pimm's in our pretty garden with its outside bar. There's a wonderful selection of wines and, as the nights draw in, fireworks and the festive season provide lots of opportunities to warm up over a glass of the mulled stuff.
