Both my boyfriend and I had a midday menu at this restaurant and we ended up very disappointed. Even though the food was very good, the amounts were not even satisfying and, because of that, we walked back to our hostel not even full. On the top of that, we saw the portions the served to another couple we had... More

While walking the Santiago Way we found this nice place. Our group was large, 9, and we shared several appetizers, tapas and desserts. All dishes were large and well done. Since we could see many locals eating there, this place seems to have consistency.

Whether you're staying in Cóbreces or you pass by this village in your way to Comillas or Santillana this restaurant is convenient to enjoy nice dishes. You can taste: the chicken ("pollo picantón") typical in the area, nice seafood ("almejas", "pulpo",...) even a hamburger :)

Arrived and waited 15 minutes to be seated then waited another 30 minutes just to order our food after that it was about 30 more minutes to be served. The food was very basic and tastless. This place is good if taste is not important to you

Beside the road the expectations were low, We lived close so we tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Quite a large menu with everthing from elaborate fish dishes to hamburgers.

Brasas y tapas is nicely located under the monumental Abatia. It serves a decent, typical Spanish lunch menu for just 8,75 e (July 13). The food is straightforward and tasty, the service can be slow, but never mind, the view is fine.

We were recommend this restaurant by a local and we had a great surprise. The place is not luxurious but the food is great and the prices are really affordable. The food quality was high and the experience one we want to repeat.

We are staying at a campsite just down the road from this restaurant so we decided to try it out. The house salad is excellent, a mixture of lettuce, pineapple, ham, tomato, melon and endives.Enough for two. I then had the roasted lamb while wife had roast chicken. Both really good. Service was excellent, just the right amount of time between... More
