This is one of the few places to eat in the centre of Lienz which offers a full restaurant menu. Unsurprisingly it was packed outside on a sunny Sunday. We therefore ate inside in the rather pleasant, traditional style restaurant. I can only comment on what we had which was about the tastiest rack of lamb I have ever had,... More

The restaurant is located in the city center, offert some different room, good for big group or just for a romantic dinner. The food is delicious starting with the soup up to the big grilled meat dish, together a Gosser bier... what else?

If overpriced, gristly wienershnitzel is your thing, this restaurant is for you. Ate here as a last resort, and even our admittedly low expectations were unfulfilled.

Right in the center of the city the Adlerstuberl offers great local food in a traditional setting. Hugh portions, attentive service. Mixed grilled meat plate was a delight.

We had dinner here after a long day spent along the GrossGlockner Hochalpenstrasse. We ate typical Schlipfkrapfen, Wiener Schnitzel and Knodel. Nice location, good price, we didn't wait too much the courses we ordered. Recommended!!!

Having checked out on Trip Advisor, we visited this restaurant with great confidence. It wasn't busy but we were shown through two half empty areas in a totally empty small room next to the toilets. We were then left for what seemed like ages, hearing get only the sounds of happy clients in the adjoining rooms. Eventually we were approached... More

Went here with a friend of mine. After a long drive from The Netherlands we still had to grab a bite. We saw this on trip advisor and went in. There's a good, real Austrian ambiance. The service is really good. The food is ok. If you want al lot, than it's a good place to eat!

Given location just behind the heart of Lienz's main square, it has a tourist vibe, but we went in anyway as it was recommended to us by a local woman. And we were very happy with the recommendation! We had a very attentive service and a very nice meal - I shared a mixed grill plate with my wife which... More

We had a lunch in this restaurant but all I can say, it was awful. We had a Schnitzel mit french fries. The taste was not good, the quality of the potato was really under the level. I'm sure it was made of the cheapest frozen potatoes. I also ordered a green salad, which only contained iceberg lettuce and 1... More

Had a nice dinner; great apfel strudel for dessert. They have English menus and take credit cards. They have an outdoor patio, however smoking is allowed out there
