We returned to La Fresquera having visited 2 years previously, and were delighted to find the standards had remained as exceptional as ever. Over a number of evenings the 4 of us tried the meat platter, the yearling beef chop for 2, the suckling pig and the mixed kebab. All of the meals and the accompanying Spanish wines were top... Undoubtedly this place knows its stuff when it comes to food and wine. The house red was excellent and our food traditional and very flavoursome. However, the lack of personal service was such a disappointment. The two female waiters were sweet and accommodating but the two male owners... well, they must have been to our table to serve and collect... More

Went here with my family to have the piglet that we had last time we were here two years ago. This time the chef had left the kidney in the piglet that resulted in that the whole dish tasted urin. When I pointed this out the waiter he just referred to the kidney that I showed him as it was... More

On passing frequently we noticed that this restaurant was always busy and using that as a guide we booked a table. Although a little more expensive than the run of the mill eating places it was certainly money well spent. As we were on holiday in a hotel on half board basis we still enjoy a meal out of the... This is a high end restaurant and not cheap so we were disappointed to find two hairs in one of our main courses. Apart from one or two issues we couldn't fault the service and the food was good but my wife asked for fish of the day at 16 Euros and was given a different fish at 18.50 Euros.... More

Ox filet should be a "easy" order for this type of restaurant. Sorry to say that this did not have the expected standard. Nice atmosphere even when filled up at 19:30.

Ok, you will so NOT be disappointed if you eat here! I would say 90% of the people dining here were Spanish, so always a good sign and the owner doesn't speak much English another great sign. My husband and I had tapas and aioli which was delicious. we ordered too much, so I would suggest if you are having... More

The food was stunning (leg of lamb, lamb chops) and the service was no-fuss but classy. Would highly recommend. PS let the owner pick your dinner! He knows the good stuff ;)

Ate here with a large group. They did a great job taking care of all of us. The Iberico ham was amazing. Also must try the Piglet! Cooked perfectly with crispy skin.

After a recommendation from our hotel we visited this restaurant, they did not disappoint. The food was gorgeous and as we ate with our picky 16 year we weren't hopeful he'd eat anything, how wrong we were. His favourite meal ever! The food and service was excellent, well worth a visit.
