Food was ok but service too slow and too informal for my liking. Pity, especially given the fantastic location of the restaurant.

We meet up with our Maltese family for dinner hear one evening they booked this restaurant. Lovely table overlooking the bay, we had a combined starter of pizza, olives, bean paste etc all tasty. The main dishes were excellent the chicken kebabs huge, I had rabbit only because I was advised that it was Maltese and not imported it was... More

This first floor restaurant is located right on the beach, so it obviously has amazing views. Great if you're spending a day at the beach and would like to have lunch in a proper restaurant, rather than a casual snackbar. This restaurant offers a selection of pasta, pizza, fish and meat dishes. We had a seafood platter as a starter... More

Had chicken with mushroom sauce and a pizza margherita, pizza was not bad but chicken was just a disaster, pink on the inside and tasted sour. On a positive note the view is great

We only went here as it was handy coming up from the beach for lunch. The view from the restaurant is impressive but unfortunately this is where it's charms end. We waited at least half an hour for a pizza which when it finally arrived, was so greasy and sloppy that all of the cheese and toppings just slid off... More

We visited this restaurant a couple of times during our holiday and were not disappointed. The setting is great - get a window seat and you can sit and watch over the beach (one of the few sandy beaches in Malta). The menu is quite extensive - something for everyone, including superb Maltese dishes as well as the ubiquitous pizza... More

In temperatures above 30C and crystal blue skies, the beaches of Mellieha are the best advertisement for family beach holidays in Malta and the Costa Del Sol restaurant is the perfect location to watch the world enjoy themselves on the sand and in the sea. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and service was quick and pleasant. Coffees, sundaes and beer... More

Went here for a snack, the young waitress was very attentive, however, that was the only good part. The tuna baguette came and the tuna was swimming in the oil from the tin in which it had been staying. This also made the crisps soggy. We were sitting in the outside dining area upstairs, this has glass screens to shelter... More

We were there for today's lunch. As vegetarians we still have problems to find tasty dishes but not in this restaurant. Service was good and the meal very tasty.

A handy watering hole at the far end of the beach walking from Mellieha along the prom. Sun loungers for hire on the beach nearby. A good spot to spend a day by the seaside.
