Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We love it here SO much. The cakes are incredible and it’s all so reasonably priced for what you get. Staff are always friendly and you feel welcomed. It’s a shame there’s only a couple of places to sit indoors but we often just eat...our cake in the car. My only critique is the coffee is not to our taste and we are a coffee family but that’s a preference thing. Keep doing what you’re doing :) xMore

An absolute gem of a cafe. Friendly service, great food and top coffee. Only working down the road thought I’d grab a coffee, but was wowed by the selection of cakes and bites to eat.

Tasty coffee and the perfect pit stop on our cycle from Charlestown to Mevagissey - fancied an Iced Dirty Chai with Oat milk and whilst the ladies said they had never made one before - they did it ! Thank you

We were staying at Pentewan Sands so this was just round the corner to us. I wish I’d found it sooner as I would have visited daily! As soon as you walk through the door the smell of coffee and cake is divine. The hardest...part is choosing what to have (and not being an absolute pig!). We only just caught them before they closed so we got a goodie box of cream teas and cakes to take away. It was great value and absolutely delicious. Seating inside and out, but tables fill up quickly. Staff are friendly too.More

Had a cream tea here, scones were home made and delicious, we then saw the array of homemade cakes and being tempted bought several. A peppermint bar, millionaires shortcake bar, flapjack and another dark chocolate bar can’t remember what it was called, but all were...delicious. If I had to pick a favourite I’d probably say the peppermint. The staff were super friendly, all in all a great little placeMore

As you arrive in this small village ,once over the small bridge you have this feeling that your about to discover a unique place. You pass this small cafe slightly set back slightly inviting you to stop, park your car in the village square, it’s...already busy with small groups of people sitting outside we venture inside to this small but homely with great welcome freshly made cakes( made by the owner) and what a tempting variety, the ladies look after your order range is most welcome we had bacon/ bap and sausage egg bap, yummy treats to kickstart the morning before we set off to discover the village, beach, and history. Not only a secret place to remember but a place that has a big heart.More

My first time eating here despite staying in Pentewan several times over several years. I've missed out! A lovely place for something to eat and drink, brilliant for gluten free including cross contamination avoidance. It makes such a difference to feel like a 'normal' person...and be able to do something as simple as have a spot of lunch and a cake. Amazing place. I'll be back!More
