Our group of 16 people on our ATV's descended upon this quaint restaurant in the small village of Santiago, Mexico, after spending the day at the nearby waterfalls and hot springs. Sergio immediately welcomed our group and invited us in for a family style meal in their lovely garden. Our drinks of Margarita's and Cerveza's were served promptly. While we... More

If you are exploring by car to the west of Santiago, such as to the falls and swimming hole at Canon de La Zorro, this is a great place to have lunch afterwards. The ambience is not spectacular but the food is excellent. There is always fresh sea food on the menu so have have a sea food soup to... More

One of my favorite meals of our trip was the one I had here - pescado a la veracruzana. It was a beautiful day, so we chose to sit outside. Such a beautiful setting and we received great service.

We have made it a point to drive here each year for the last 19 visits and it has never changed and never disappointed. Well worth the drive. Food is all made fresh with ingredients from the garden out back.

My wife and I stopped here for some cervezas and some Guacamole after visiting the Charcoal hot springs. The guacamole was likely the best we'd ever had. The owner stopped by to introduce himself and to inquire about our meal. He told us the secret ingredient in his guacamole is the avocados he grows on his property. We overheard lots... More

We stayed in Santiago overnight and as this is the only restaurant we had dinner here. The owner Lenny (I hope I got the name right) was extremely friendly and super helpful and managed to get us a lovely vegetarian meal even though their menu is mostly fish- and meat-based. He talked to us about his life and life in... More

This is a great place to stop if you're going to the hot springs. The garden is lovely and the food is quite good. We had quesadillas with shrimp that were delicious and sopa de mariscos that had lots of seafood, but a rather bland but salty broth. The service was excellent and the coffee was good.

We stopped here after visiting the waterfalls. The courtyard was refreshing and quiet. I had the Pescado al la Veracruzana which was the best meal I had in 4 weeks of travelling in BCS. If you like green olives and capers this dish is for you!

My spouse & I found the Palomar restaurant on an unhurried trip to the Cabo San Hose airport. Lovely shady spot on the porch, cooled by soft breezes. I had the grilled shrimp served with papas fritas and rice & a salad. Very tasty! my spouse had chili rellenos which were freshly made, stuffed with cheese and wonderful in their... More
