Dropped in here on the way to the BMW dealer next door Staff really friendly we both had 2 small Haddock and chips cooked perfectly. Good value, good food, apparently the owners were not on duty which is even more a credit, overall very good...More

Booked in at the last minute Boxing Day which was not a problem for the lovely lady on the phone. We ordered a pie which was delicious and a Boxing Day special with bubble and squeak. Lovely service and lovely food in a traditional pub....More

How does this pub survive there was absolutely nobody in there a dog a cat running around the restaurant it was freezing cold had food and left probably will not return and this was a Saturday evening. Tlc needed

A lovely old fashioned pub. Two very charming lady hosts behind the bar who make you very welcome as you come through the door. G00d selection of ales and the best cheesychips. Make the effort and call in..

Brilliant menu and value for money , booking advised as its busy with the locals, parking available . Fantastic improvement on many road side pubs, other landlords should learn from this example !!

I visited mid week and it was pleasantly busy. Good for parking. Lovely welcome without being over the top. I had cod and chips and the fish was very fresh. Good service efficient and definitely go there again.

No there is not, the menu is regularly changed and is colour coded for meat dishes, fish dishes and vegetarian dishes
