Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Visited a few days ago for dinner with my wife. This is our go to restaurant and bar for family meals and special occasions as well as just a great dinner for no specific reason. No excuse required! Drinks in the cosy bar before dinner...then a fantastic meal as always. Best Italian in Fife by miles! Service and value first class. Will be back again soon. Thanks to Erica and her lovely staff for looking after us.More

My third visit and was as good as the first. Lovely food and great staff - would definitely give many restaurants in London a run for their money. Will be back as soon as I am in Fife again.

The restaurant was extremely busy mid week which we didn’t expect to have to book but we were catered for without hesitation. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend this little Italian to anyone that is visiting this area. Both...my partner and myself had a lovely evening and we spoke to the owner prior to leaving who was genuinely passionate about the place:-).More

We have been to the Kettlebridge for food multiple times, we go there for family celebrations, works night meals and any other time we can get along. It is the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy! The staff are super friendly and...the price is brilliant value for money. Never once in about 8 visits have I felt let down by the food or the service. I have recommended this place to lots of friends and family and they have all said it has been outstanding. A real diamond of a place If I could give them 10 stars I would.More

My husband and I have been regulars since it was taken over by Erica and her fabulous chefs. 6 years ago. And we can say without a doubt its our favourite restaurant. We have brought friends and family from as far as Canada and England...to this quaint beautiful restaurant. And every time they come to stay for a holiday. The very first place they want to eat is this Italian restaurant...and every opportunity they have. So to see a couple of negative reviews is definitely a sock and surprise.. The food,is amazing. The surroundings are quaint and homely. And the staff are extra welcoming. Without constantly bothering you.. I have to give this restaurant 5 out of 5. Oh and the deserts are to die for. Keep up the good work everyone.More

I went for a meal with my wife and daughter as a pre birthday celebration on the quiet. It was St Patricks day and the bar was busy but we got served easily and were greeted with a smile and a welcome. Once we got...drinks and indicated that we were in for a meal Erica - the owner - led us to our table and explained the specials along with the main menu which was varied and suitable for all dietary needs. We all ordered different starters and different mains as it all sounded so good and we could share and taste each others as well ... I am glad we did this as each and all of the plates of food were delicious I mean really authentic and delicious. I can honestly say it was a great way to celebrate my birthday all be it a day early. The meal was incredible value for money considering the quality of the food. We had a great time in a relaxed and friendly environment that is often hard to find in a small country village - well done Kettlebridge Inn you are a credit to the hospitality industryMore

We always receive a warm welcome from the friendly Team here in Kingskettle and Erica is the perfect host. This little gem is just the place to enjoy delicious, authentic Italian freshly made food. Pasta, seafood, meat, pizza, home-made desserts and a selection of wine...and drinks. The menu of classic old time favourites and seasonal specials are cooked to order and portions are generous. The bar is friendly, cosy and tastefully lit with twinkly lights. It creates the perfect atmosphere to eat amazing food and enjoy a few drinks after a walk with the dogs who are always made to feel most welcome too. You won’t be disappointed!More

I can`t remember it`s name, but there was ham and cheese and the best warm garlic bread that I can remember. I`ve had three steaks in recent years at the Kettlebridge, and they are the three top steaks I have had in my whole puff....Erica and her team couldn`t do more to make me, and the other patrons, feel more welcome and valued. When they give you their undivided attention you could honestly believe they had opened the restaurant just for you. Just a wonderful ambience, food, and overall experience!! I`m sure Erica is very proud of her team, as she should be. But I hope she takes time in her busy day to feel proud of herself, as she deserves that very much!!!More

Was at a wedding nearby last year and was advised to visit here next time I was up. Roll on this March and I visited with my mate and his family (the one that got married previously). An absolute gem of a place. Cosy, well...laid out and a stunning menu with seating inside and out. The owner and the team make you feel incredibly welcome as soon as you arrive. It was quite busy whilst we were there, with others arriving throughout the evening, indicating its popularity, however this did not affect the service time on our choices. The food is freshly prepared and presented perfectly, ours all arrived without any delay. A family near us ordered a few of the pizzas, they looked amazing and something I’ll definitely try when I visit again. Lots of awards and recommendations displayed, which justify their hard work and customer commitment. Overall a stunning little place and well worth a visit. Judging by the popularity I would suggest booking or ringing up prior to visiting, just in case. I’m looking forward to my next visit, thank you so much.More

Yes you would need to book first. Not sure if you're allowed dogs, however, Erica the owner is a dog owner herself and sometimes takes her dog into work. Definitely worth asking. Enjoy.
