Nice quiet small pub off the beaten track out in the country, lovely pub beside a duck pond, in lovely village. This is a real pub not a gastro pub chain with rubber cookie cutter menu and standard food. Interesting menu with locally sourced ingredients....More

Not much of an atmosphere but is situated in a very pretty village and staff are friendly enough, although took 10 minutes to get served at an empty bar because no one was there. Food is nice enough. If you're passing by worth a visit...More

to be honest I can't remember seeing one (it was dark). Great pub for a casual drink and eats is at The Royal Oak, just north of Chilgrove. Great atmosphere, real country pub down a winding lane!
