Had lunch here a few days ago and, from being temperature checked before entry, to the food and beer, everything was spot on. Good, honest, non-pretentious pub food at standard prices means we'd happily visit again

My husband always wants to visit this pub when we visit the Lake District. He says the real ale is superb and he has enjoyed some of his finest pints here. Always a good choice of ale and they are extremely well kept.
