Two of us had lunch here on a Sunday lunchtime. The web site said that because of limited space we needed to book a table, which we did and was very easy to d. The cafe is in a large log cabin and has inside...and outside seating. We chose to eat inside. It was extremely clean. The chose was Jacket potatoes, panini, salads and also specials which were Steak and kidney pudding, or steak and mushroom pudding both with vegetables. They also did homemade cake and what I think were homemade soups. We each had one of the specials which were utterly delicious. The puddings came with carrots, broccoli and mash with gravy and were all beautifully cooked. The staff were very friendly and we felt very covid safe. We will be back.More

Amazing Christmas afternoon tea. Beautifully presented and enjoyed by both adults and children. The sausage roll were lovely and the veggie quiche was delicious, the cakes were devoured in seconds by the children!

We popped in this afternoon for a brew and a cake on the way back from a weekend away at Marco Pierre White’s place in Bath and the service we received within 10 seconds of arriving was better than the whole weekend at Marco’s place...:). The staff are fantastic. So friendly and attentive and the food is lovely. Keep up the good work! You could teach some other places a thing or two!More

Great little cafe within Alban Hill Nurseries.. good quality food, well presented and served with fantastic side salads.. and the cake selection is sooo good! Staff are very nice & friendly and I would much rather spend money somewhere like this than a chain style...cafe with bland food & no personality Food pics attached to give you a good idea of what to expect - the mac & cheese was from the specials board, as was the roasted vegetable quiche, the panini was from the menu & there are various fillings to choose from. Highly recommend : )More

We randomly popped into the Alban Hill garden centre and found this lovely coffee shop. It’s more than that though. Good selection of good food to choose from and nothing was too much trouble. As it was late afternoon we opted for a ploughman’s to...share in order to save room for a dessert. The ploughman’s was beautifully fresh with tasty cheese and excellent ham. The fresh bread, salad, chutney, celery and apple were just what we needed on a nice sunny day. Then - oh the cakes! Chocolate and raspberry cake for me and an Eton Mess for him really couldn’t have been better. There are some nice and clean ladies & gents facilities too. Highly recommendedMore
