Small local restaurant with a great kitchen. We had dinner and lunch in this great place and were amazed by the dishes, the host and the kitchen crew. Come hungry because the portions are big.

We stopped here for lunch while we were staying nearby... We picked it as it looked comfortable and relaxed. Food was great, I had pizza and partner had salad, both of which were very tasty and good value.

We were staying in Torsoli and had a recommendation to eat in Lucolena. It was closed so we drove up the road 4 km and are we glad we did. The food at L'Osteria Ribugio Del Chianti was fantastic. Home cooked, flavorful and generous portions. We returned a couple of times and tried the pasta, ribs and several other delights.... More

That's a place where locals come for a snack, coffee, prosecco. No English spoken, service far from any standards but the food is great and the laid back atmosphere - priceless;).

Staying outside Greve our B and B owner told us about this little osteria in a village of about 4 buildings. Great basic Tuscan food. Spaghetti pomodoro, noodles with wild boar sauce. Simple, inexpensive delicious. Wonderful cook--Marie Rose. Couple stop here for lunch with visit to Castello d'Albola winery for tour and tasting. About mile apart on the road going... More

Continous working hours L'Osteria run by two brothers and a sister. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Small and cosy. We discovered it during our drive around chianti. We liked it so much that we decided to return the following day for more. We were not disappointed. Good choice of main courses. Authentic Tuscan food. Spaghetti dell Chief was our favourite. Pane Toscano... More

If you are near Figline Valdarno or Duda or Greve in in Chianti make a little side trip up the hill and find this very small Osteria. Probably only holds 30 people inside but it also has outside seating. Down "home" tuscan food. Also a small meat and cheese shop. Warm and welcoming!

A fantastic small restaurant in the small village of Badia Montemuro, approximately 6 miles north of Radda The owner serves some of the best prosciutto, pastrami and other cold meats I've ever had. As if this isn't enough he also serves a good variety of excellent Tuscan food including a gorgeous pappardelle al cinghiale This can be washed down with... More
