Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went out for a drive and pulled in to try this pub for Sunday lunch. Good choice! They got us seated real quick, and the drinks order and food arrived in quick fashion. Really good starter and mains, and excellent service. Highly recommend you try...them. We will be returning no doubt!More

Lovely old English inn, lovely building and the food looks good. However, the service is diabolical, ignoring me at the bar twice, just plain rude. That's the last visit no matter how nice the pub is.... you can just tell, regulars priority or if your...eating and spending, that's different. Shame.More

Lovely character pub. Friendly. The food is fairly good quality, reasonably priced pub grub. BUT be warned, the portions are MASSIVE. We find a starter each is perfectly adequate with a side of veg or salad.

Such a lovely place. Came with a few friends for a weekend away in the country and the staff and customers couldn't be more welcoming. Went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and were looked after, we'll definitely be back!!

In short….WOW!!! Whenever we visit Shropshire for a mini-break we always make a stop here for food and a pint and they NEVER FAIL to deliver. This time we visited for a Sunday roast and believe me when I say, you will not get a...better Sunday roast than The Swan, Aston Munslow #fact ! We had a little of all the meats on the menu, beef, lamb and pork which were all cooked to PERFECTION. Where to even start with the roast potatoes - simply delicious, not to mention the Yorkshire pudding… oh and the gravy…all of it!! We had the prawn cocktail to start, which was delicious, a generous helping of prawns and tasty Marie Rose sauce. We were too full for a pudding but they had a good selection and all looked delicious and home cooked. The pub has a local, cosy village pub feel steeped in history. The staff are very friendly, we’ve always had amazing service. Oh and Madri on tap, fantastic! Thank you, we will be back! :)More

We had a nice lunch at the Swan. It's in the lovely setting of rural Aston Munslow and the pub is decorated to a high standard. It combines a traditional pub atmosphere with a stylish and modern twist. The food was very good and the...people very welcoming. The only downside for us was the restaurant area felt a bit formal and lacked atmosphere for lunch, but I imagine it's a nice place to be on a busy evening.More

A fabulous dining experience, as always. The pub was really busy today as we celebrated my husband's birthday with his parents, so the wait was a little longer but the food is always worth waiting for! Ben and the team are so friendly and welcoming...and nothing is ever too much hassle for them. Great job, Ben! Vicki and DanMore

Sorry for the late reply. There is a beer garden and plenty of seating. Swan Festival in August always worth the visit.
