Great menu with hearty meat dishes, fish and vegetarian options. Popularity means the staff are well organised. Desserts cakes looked nice but we didn't indulge on this visit.

Calle din with part of our tour group today. Delicious and tender lamb with cauliflower polenta, best I've ever tasted. Staff were lovely and provided me with a desert as it was my birthday ❤️ Highly recommended.

You sit and look at the vineyard and beyond to the sea. Food focus is totally on local products including the drinks (not the coffee!) it's all delicious and the platters are a great way to sample a variety of food. One piece of advice: try to be there before 12.30 as bus loads arrive around 1 and it can... More

This place is tucked on the gentle hill and is not at all pretentious but right up there for atmosphere, service and absolutely delicious food. One of us had wallaby (fab!), two of us had the fish (melted in the mouth) and I had the lamb (yum!). We really enjoyed our lunch here, and the young staff couldn't done more... More

We dined at the Bruny Island Wine Bar Frill on the Friday evening and enjoyed a delightful meal. We were greeted by a friendly young waitress and enjoyed her service for the evening. the menu was varied and well priced. One local grain fed steak, one premium beef burger and a childs meal were enjoyed, not just your regular pub... More

I was just driving by and decided to call in having no preconceptions of the place at all but curious about what is said to be Australia's most southern winery. The place had a pleasant ambiance and the person who welcomed me was friendly and helpful. I tried the range of wines and apple ciders offered for $5, which was... More

We have previously enjoyed lunch at Bruny Island Wines & Grill and wanted to show some of our friends just how good this little restaurant is - we were not disappointed!!!!! Despite being really busy on the day we visited everything was spot on. Our orders were taken with the staff being friendly and attentive, the drinks arrived and a... More

Where to start? The "hostess" I guess you'd call her (Susi I think?) was surly and rude and to be honest, a bit of a know it all. The chef was stoned (yep we could tell mate) and my wife was offended by his swearing. We were sat near the kitchen so heard it all. Not enough staff to handle... More

Hi Mattyj, Thanks you for visiting our establishment. I am sorry you feel you experienced rude service, Suzi at the time was doing a commentary to our bus tour which was over 70 people on the day and she was very busy. It is her job to "know it all" as she is telling the tour group about the history... More
