One of the best Wetherspoons I've been to, and I've been to a few. The food we ordered was served quickly, even by Wetherspoons' standards, it was really warm, and great tasting. Staff polite and friendly, a real family friendly atmosphere. Can't fault it. Fired buttermilk Chicken burger with bacon and cheddar cheese was one of the best burgers I've... More

After an afternoon on the ski slope we thought good pub food was in order. Well going to Castle in the Air was a big mistake. Go to any of the other cafes and restaurants at the Chill factore but avoid this place at all costs. The mash was powdered, gritty, cold and tasteless. The grilled mushroom was incinerated and... Very convenient for sporty types (check out nearby indoor skydiving, skiing, trampolining, etc). Great value - much cheaper than Wetherspoon's "Mardi Gras" in the Trafford intu (shopping) Centre - and more free parking. Family friendly

Hi, Thank you for your review. You point out some great advantages we have over similar venues - especially our unique location near so many exciting activities. We are definitely family friendly and love to see happy families dining here. We especially like to make a fuss of our youngest and oldest customers whenever we can! Cheers, Edd More

Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to submit a review following your visit. Despite finding the size of the Sweet Potato Jacket disappointing, I am glad you noted it was nicely cooked. I really enjoy the Sweet Potato Jackets myself, but they do tend to be slightly smaller than the regular Jacket Potatoes. We look forward to welcoming you... More

I came here along with 44 of my work colleagues. We had pre booked our food (starter and main) to save hassle on the day. We had 3 long tables in the main restaurant and we were loud as expected. Our food all came out together and was all correct, hot and well cooked. I was so impressed with the... More
