I visited the wonderful Castello Marcantonio in September for the wedding of one of my best friends. Everything was outstanding from the location, the food, the service, the drinks and the entertainment. This venue is by far the best location for weddings in Abruzzo.More

History & Elegance

I had been to this Castel about 25 yrs ago I now went back for the first time after the restorations. Wow whatan incredible job that they have done. And it is wonderful that as a venue it is available to public to hold special...events. I did not yet have a chance to eat there but I have heard raving reviews from friends that they have eaten loved it there. I can not wait for a special occasion that I can hold at this place. Wonderful blend of History and elegance.More

Spectacular wedding venue!

Good friends of mine were married here and it was a magical experience! The staff was warm and charming from the very beginning and the service was exceptional. The banquet hall was elegantly decorated with personal touches to make each guest feel welcome. The local...cuisine was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was also accommodating and prepared meals for anyone with dietary restrictions. It was fun to explore the castle and discover little nooks and enjoy the covered rooftop with breathtaking views of Cepagatti. I highly recommend Castello Marcantonio!!More

Gorgeous wedding venue!

I attended a friend’s wedding here last month. Very beautiful and perfect venue for a wedding celebration- it’s spacious, but surprisingly very cozy as well. I was excited to explore the various parts of the castle and discover little surprises, like the sweeping view of...Cepagatti from the rooftop. The cobblestones and quaint backdrop outside of the building created a gorgeous photo-opp session. The food was out of this world. Beginning with the fresh appetizers to the main course, desserts and never-ending flow of wine, everything was simply amazing and delicious. The staff was super accommodating and welcoming. I had an amazing time! Highly recommend!More

Fantastic Event Venue

My husband is from Italy, I am from NYC and we both have friends and family from all around the world. When we decided to hold our wedding in Abruzzo, Italy we looked at many venues and finally decided on Castello Marcantonio. We had a...fantastic wedding. Despite all the different cultural traditions and languages, Giovanni and the rest of the staff at Castello Marcantonio were amazing: warm, hospitable, accommodating and charming. The food was fantastic- our guests from abroad are still talking about it. The staff accommodated every single person with dietary restrictions including special menus for children. The location itself is beautiful. Our procession took place in a Roman cistern that is over 2,000 years old. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed exploring all of the castle from the armory room to the roof balcony with a beautiful view of Cepagatti. The castle lent a sense of timelessness to our day and we hope to one day bring future generations back to visit.More

Wedding party

My niece's wedding was held in this castle where is filled with ancient charm. The building with the multi-levels of rooms , terra-cotta flooring, Rome brick walls, and vault ceiling that creates dynamic ambiance to the wedding. The wedding banquet was decorated with exquisite flower...arrangements; the well-presentable table settings for the sit-down dinner; the buffet table for a variety of seafoods,meets,and cheeses,; and the multi-buffet stations for various desserts delicately designed with delicious tastes. Open bar drinks, live music, and DJ along with an excellent service from staff made a completely exclusive wedding that was exceptionally beautiful.More
