I don’t want to be to critical as this was the first day of reopening under the latest restrictions.
We telephoned to try and book a table but was advised that they do not take bookings but plenty of tables so no issues.
My wife and I called for the first time after walking around Linacre Reservoirs and we were very pleased with The Peacock Inn.
The decor throughout the pub is excellent along with the welcoming staff.
Food was also very good and fairly priced.
It's been a long time since i saw roast sirloin of beef on a Sunday lunch menu!The beef was perfectly pink!mouthwatering.The only slight disappointment was the cauliflowers cheese wasn't hot,not even warm!It was swapped for another one!But it won't put me off..most definitely visit again!Well...More

Went for Sunday lunch, our food, Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was superb, meat perfectly cooked Freshly cooked vegetables, our desserts Sticky Toffee pudding and homemade crumble were delicious.
