I have never been impressed by this restaurant or food though I have eaten here several times. The food is okay and , yes, there is a smell of grease in the air.

Have been visiting Universite Ste Anne in next door Church Point for 17 years and the first thing on my mind is the Dining Room in the Goodwin. Have had at least 100 meals there and never been disappointed. Try the "Finnan Haddie" Yum!

You want the freshest seafood prepared just right with a dessert that grandma would approve of? Go to the Goodwin. The dining room is a step back in time, and the service is friendly and professional. I make it a point to eat here when I'm in the area. It's a snapshot into the past. You'll love it.

Homemade meals and local seafood specialties in a charming, old hotel. Daily specials (I had the turkey dinner which was fabulous!) and daily pie selection brings locals and tourists for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You know it's a great place when it's full of locals! Service is excellent and personable. Parking is ample.

The service and atmosphere were excellent! As in the past when I visited, the food is still delicious. I had the scallop dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of scallops with the meal. Save room for dessert, all homemade!

I go here often. It's a great restaurant with good food and service. The pan fried haddock is to die for and the tomato, rice/hamburg soup is my favourite.

We just recently stayed at the Goodwin and let me tell you , they couldn't have been more accommodating! Our family were the only ones who stayed in the hotel All weekend...our little ones could come and go and we didn't worry! The food was amazing and very clean!
