Popped in on the off chance of some lunch, nice and quiet and food looked great. However we couldn’t get the electric wheelchair in to the restaurant. There are steps down so we were advised for Dad to go outside in the rain to come...through another door which also had a step. Such a shame when a small ramp for approx. £50 from Amazon could solve a problem. This is a frequent concern we have in many venues that claim to be disabled friendly and it hasn’t been 100% thought through. Would love to be an advisor to such venues to overcome these problems.
Perhaps next time!More
The restaurant is a nice looking place but the food is rubbish. We went for breakfast and we ordered omelettes, they were the consistency of rubber, obviously pre-made and re-heated with a slice of bacon folded in one and unwashed, gritty spinach in the other....Surely a place like this can make a fresh omelette?More
Enjoyed a really good family lunch The Granary. Clearly a lot of locally produced ingredients were used, and it showed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and added to the enjoyment. Will definitely return.
Excellent pre drinks service. All meals excellent. Staff were very polite and attentive, service great. Sales manager fulfilled all our expectations. A thoroughly good evening enjoyed by all. Will definitely return.
We arrived in a what was a very hot day excited to be out and about once again, the restaurant was in the grounds of Weston Park so we though it will be good..... The location of the table was outside which was great under...an umbrella even better, but surrounded by weeds and bits of other left overs (surley a couple of hours during lockdown either weed killer or someone using a scrapper would have sorted it out) anyway we ordered the steak sandwich £14 and the hot salmon sandwich £13....the steak slice came with pkt rocket 5home cooked chips a slice of baquette and 4.5 slices of (small ) beef in a mushroom cream sauce (tasteless ) the salmon looked fantastic and was tastey ....then we orderd the lemon posset, when it arrive the compot han been hastily tipped ontop of the posset as it was all down the side of the glass spoiling the flvour of the lemon, it came with two shop bought rounds of shortbread...£6.50.....the drinks glass of wine £6.50 water £4.50, so after waiting to speak to our waiter which he never appeared again we paid and left... shall we retutn.......More
Molly the duty manager and her staff were incredibly friendly and I would highly recommend this pub for anybody looking for a quiet afternoon out.
Great team, fast service and great environment.
Will definitely be back
We hadn't pre-booked, so had to return after 45mins to get a table under a canopy with heater. Unfortunately, there isn't much heat from the heaters, but the canopy was good to avoid the rain. The portions are generous, if a litle pricey.

Thank you for getting in touch and I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your lunch. I have checked the app and it works but I know that our WiFi can be a challenge due to our rural setting so I will ensure that the team continue to give out Test and Trace slips for those that can't get on-line. We have daily health and safety briefings and I will ensure that your concerns are raised - the team are very diligent but your feedback is very helpful - thank you. I do hope that we will see you again soon. With best wishes, Weston Park
