We often choose the Antelope when friends come to visit as it really has something for everyone. It was the Saturday of the bank holiday when we visited and unsurprisingly the pub was very busy - luckily we had booked. Drinks were swiftly served and...More

Visited last Saturday. Although this is our local and we visit often, we took my brother in law and had a lovely evening. Fish and chips as ever was excellent. I had profiteroles for dessert - a real treat

Good variety of sandwiches and main meals. Friendly staff. Tables and chairs or settees. Outside area for good weather. Average prices and good portion sizes. I found the background music a trifle irritating.

We were looking for something close to M40 as an alternative to motorway services. A quick google whilst on route (I wasn't the driver!!!) and this came up as close to motorway, with good reviews. It was close (10 mins) from 1 junction and the...More

I am sad to read a few recent negative reviews for this pub as we have nothing but praise for it at the moment. We have been for two Sunday roasts here recently and the Antelope delivered on both occasions. Huge portions, decent/properly sourced meat,...More

Probably best to give them a call as I know they do excellent Sunday lunches but not sure if they serve food into the evening
