Very bright airy and clean looking. Good welcome. Good choice of beverages and the cake on offer is a nice touch.

We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast. The communal rooms downstairs were welcoming and the bar was stocked with home made cakes for afternoon tea. The place had a good daytime buzz with families of all ages clearly having a good time Dinner was a fine standard with a good selection of wine The bedroom had been newly and quirkily... More

My husband and I had Sunday Lunch @ The Coach House, I had booked in advance and informed them we would have our 6 wk old baby in her pram. We were provided with a table with lots of space around it and were made to feel very welcome. The lunch was very nice and great quality, the option of... More

We visited just 2 days ago for our 7th-anniversary dinner. We were seated at a lovely table. It happened to be 'Gourmet Burger' night. The complimentary house bread was divine. I choose the house burger (good choice). My partner Matt had the Pulled Pork. It was very tasty and mine arrived piping hot (nuclear) as requested :) Very filling! We... More

Had a company meeting here today. Despite living only around 3 miles away never been here before. It was a very well presented nice meal but at £8 for a nice sandwich a tad expensive. Good service and nice venue. Good menu choice but I think I would go for an evening meal to try the full menu next time.... More

Would rate this 7/10. The roast was good but the veg selection was a bit limited and portion size not generous. The desserts were imaginative and delicious but expensive. We were seated at a table next to the kitchen so were always surrounded by bustling staff, which is not relaxing. We left sated, the food is above average but not... More

I started staying here for business over the last couple of years. It's a popular local pub with really good food. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are extremely comfortable and furnished to a high standard

Food overall good, potions a bit small especially ice cream with the pud.and veg a bit thin overall. Cold room with draughty door behind and we all got cold which was not pleasant. Expected a few mints with the coffee which is pretty standard in most restaurants now but none forthcoming. On asking staff they said there was none available.... More

We attended this restaurant for a lunch time sitting having seen the good reviews on trip advisor and elsewhere. Service was generally slow (e.g. 30 mins between sitting and anyone coming over to take order, drinks took 20+ mins to arrive), disinterested (e.g. we had to tell them we needed cutlery replacing after starter) and items missing with each course.... Nice atmosphere and pretty tasty food but service really lets this place down. Our waitress couldn't remember more than one dish at a time as we were ordering (my partner had to repeat our order around 4 times) and took a very long time to come and clear the table after we'd finished starters. We ordered a 2nd round of... More

We're a good pub with well kept ales and tempting wines. We're a restaurant serving fresh, high quality, local food. We're a coffee house with home made cakes. We're somewhere to enjoy a fabulous Sunday barbecue. We're a great venue for a private function. We're a comfortable hotel.
