Very nice curry, great service, would recommend. Fair pricing, better than the average place in the area.

Great Freshly cooked food with quality produce well done to all at Jalfrezy never had a bad experience from Gandhi’s in Totton, Gandhi’s in Portswood to Jalfrezy in Totton 35+years simply the best.
Excellent meal and we will return. Had the house special and another chicken dish plus veg dishes. Nice to find a decent restaurant locally
Once again, a disappointing take away from Jalfrezy. Unfortunately you never know whether you are going to get a good one or poor one; tonight's was the worse yet! After waiting an additional 30mins for our order, we get back home to find an additional...rice we hadn't ordered, a sloppy mushroom dish instead of a bhaji and a tikka masala that was dreadfully runny. Calling it quits tonight. We won't be going back.More
Despite a busy Saturday night causing a delay in delivery, food as always exceeds expectations, spot on and delicious.
Went for a meal with 6 friends last Friday and it was one of my best experiences. The staff were friendly, the food was outstanding and the price was reasonably cheap. I would definitely recommend the garlic naan and the king prawn madras.
King Prawn Modhu was a sweet dish, huge prawns and garlic rice was delicious. Extensive menu with so much to choose from and our waiter was attentive and really friendly. Cannot fault our evening and would recommend this Indian.
I reviewed this takeaway very favourably when I first used them. Since then they have gone downhill. Last night the chicken Ceylon was so watery and lacking in flavour. The mint sauce is now 90p in a pot half the size they used to serve...it in. It’s not much bigger than those little plastic pots of jam you get in a restaurant. We needed 4 of them, that’s £3.60 just for mint sauce. Really disappointed!More
Delivery 3/4 of an hour late, which can be forgiven on a Saturday evening. 3 calls from driver as he was in our road but didn't have house number. Said oh I must have gone past it. Took a further ten minutes, I can walk...round the crescent in less. Food was cold. My tandoori chicken biryani was clearly thrown together, it was not biryani rice it was the same rice as my partners garlic rice less the garlic, with 6 pieces of burnt, dry and tasteless tandoori chicken. Sad because we have always ordered here and that was poor service for a regular customer.More
We would highly recommend this takeaway, the tandoori chicken and cheese nan tasted great. The delivery was exception as when i called it souned quite busy and it was well priced.
We arrived at 7pm for our table on a Saturday night. Only 2/3 other tables in at that time and waited 25 minutes to order a drink. The Coke came warm out of a 1.5ltr bottle and was charged £3.50 for a small glass. Our...starter then arrived an hour later and then our main another 40 minutes after that. While we waited we watched takeaway orders leave the kitchen slowly and lots of chasing up phone calls coming in with an argument with another disgruntled customer also on the phone. Overall the food wasn’t bad our mains were hot and tasty but out plates were cleared while our son was still eating and then when the hoover was brought in we felt we were being rushed out the door after waiting 2 hours for a main. Being from the more northern part of England I wasn’t expecting the hefty bill that came at the end of the meal either- very expensive for the overall experience and cut corners here and there. Far too long to wait, I feel these guys should stick to a takeaway service only.More
The service was awful and the food pretty much followed the same route. What used to be fabulous is now dreadful. I will never return, nor will my friends. How sad.
The service was appalling! 1/2 hour just to order drinks and poppadoms and decided to order starters . One of our party ordered her main with the starters as well. Finished our starters and waited 45 mins before asking where the mains were whilst watching...other diners leaving disgusted and others being served and leaving. Then to be told the delay was because we had starters 🙄then the excuse was one of us ordered food that needed the tandoor 🙄 then to be told it was because they were short staffed. Food wasn’t bad but we asked for cucumber raitha which when it came was sour watery yoghurt with a few slices of cucumber. Very poor.More
Only people in the restaurant and still slow service. I had a voucher via Vodafone and it wasn’t accepted. Won’t be going there again.
We went for a mid week evening meal in early august. Pre booked so all good there. The greeting upon arrival was astonishingly poor. Almost as if we should not have been there at all as it was far too much effort for the waiter....Waited a while to order drinks and get a menu. The kids ordered lemonade, which left the waiter looking a little perplexed?? most amusing part of the evening was 5 minutes later seeing the waiter nipping out to the local coop for a "restock" of their own brand lemonade. Good value when a small glass costs nearly £3!!!. The food was ok but portions are very small, even my 10 year old said they were not even slightly full from an adult main with sides. The naan bread was the highlight of the meal and was very good. Overall I would avoid mid week as it felt like we were an inconvenience and the for the price there are far better restaurants in the area. Won't be going back as a result of that first impression...More
