We had lunch here on a Wednesday in November and it was heaving. Nice food and location, but an unpleasant experience due to the crowds.

I've visited at Christmas and had mulled wine and during the summer I had sandwiches and a beer after walking from Dunstanburgh. It's a really friendly place to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat. Always busy and a nice atmosphere.

Used as our resting place following our walk from Beadnell to Dunstanburgh Castle - coffee outgoing and a delicious pint from their microbrewery homeward - difficult to beat!
