The service here was very pleasant and friendly when I ordered my takeaway meal and received a lot.
The creamy mash and vegetables was very nice for my main, but the main dish itself of chicken and creamy mushrooms I wasn't very keen of. The...More
The owners have stepped up in serving very tasty and very satisfying takeaways throughout this pandemic. They regularly offer new meals on the menu. My husband loves the steak pie, mash and veg and portions are very generous. This evening I tried the chicken pasta...More
There are several great options for meals in the area but The Plough is our favourite! It’s a lovely place to visit when you can, but they’ve also adapted to do great takeaways in the meantime.

A nice country pub which is worth visiting for the food options - these are far more varied than one might expect from a country pub, especially as there's a large selection of specials in addition to the main menu. My only gripe is that...More

Hi Carol, that's absolutely fine. I have reserved a table in the bar for you both at 1:30pm. A copy of our Sunday Lunch menu is available on our website but it is a sample menu and is subject to change although we always try and offer a choice of two roasts. I hope this helps, and we look forwards to seeing you on the 28th January.
