Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. I had a Lorne roll and a latte which were both delicious. Great place for a simple tasty breakfast. Also has a shop for essentials

We had a really good brunch with the kids on our recent trip to Loch Awe. The owners are super friendly and have all the local knowledge you need to make the most of your stay. The shop stocks all the daily essentials, plus firewood...and fire lighters to roast marshmallows!More

Best pizza I’ve ever had. Better than the pizza specialty restaurants I’ve visited in Glasgow. Order in advance and collect at allocated time. We reheated our left overs on a baking tray on top of the log burner which gave an even crispier base. Amazing...toasties, cakes and coffee too.More

When we are away we like to support local businesses- today we tried to stop for a coffee and cake, 30 minutes before closing. Lady very apologetic saying coffee machine cleaned for the day, so only cold drinks. They lost £20 revenue, another couple arrived...as we left, presumably for a drink. Seems a shame, if you’re open till 3pm you should serve until then.More

We were a group of a dozen cyclists who took shelter here during a typical Scottish midsummer downpour whilst cycling along the amazing (but challenging) single-track road alongside Loch Awe. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable. Turned up unannounced and was served...excellent coffee and a great selection of cakes. Strongly recommended for cyclists (or anyone else that likes good coffee and pleasant service).More

There are lots of lovely walks, long and short, all over Argyll but those “in the know” always pick walks close to a great place for lunch. This is probably one of the best lunch venues in Argyll. Under new ownership since Covid it is...still the “go to” destination for anyone in the vicinity of Loch Awe; absolutely the essential lunch venue in this area.More

The staff here could not have been more helpful if they tried! They went over and above for my sister’s hen party which was in the cabins nearby. Martin was fabulous on the night and made the perfect cocktails and pizzas for everyone. They made...sure everyone was comfortable and seen too! Food&Drink was delicious! I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars because they were absolutely fantastic! Thanks again.More

Had the blackened chargrilled chicken on a toasted pretzel roll with salad and coleslaw and it was heartily seasoned and tasted fantastic. The other rider had cod goujons in a wrap that was also great. Very reasonable prices considering the location. Lovely lady serving and...cooking. Apparently a top spot for cyclists stopping for cake and a drink (and several were on a weekday)More
