This time, having reserved a table in the bar (December) - having discounted the restaurant section we were sat near a radiator which was not on. There was a draught from the corridor and the lights from the kitchen impinged on the bar's ambience. Luckily...More

Four of us visited this pub to try their Thursday steak night following a very tasty Sunday meal two weeks previously. At £10 per head, which represented excellent value for money, we were treated to steak that melted in your mouth, skinny fries, tomatoes, peas...More

Six of us had booked for a Saturday night at 7.30 and were the only ones in the restaurant, which was not surprising given its unwelcoming, dismal ambience and fusty smell. The whole room would have been improved with tea lights and better heating. Luckily...More

We went today to celebrate a friend's birthday. We'd heard a lot of good things about the pub, so were excited to go and eat some tasty food. On arriving we were kept waiting for ten minutes while our table was prepared, which was fine,...More
