It's a massive pub. We met our friends here before our dinner reservation elsewhere. The staff made us feel very welcome. We were served swiftly but didn't feel rushed at all. Nice pub to have a sociable drink with friends Can recommend

On a visit to a 93 year old mother/in law/grandmother we had Saturday lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal, helped by pleasant service. Good choice of beers to accompany it. This is a chain pub with a chain pub menu, so shouldn't expect cordon bleu food, but it was fine for what it is.

There is plenty of choice in the menu. Very friendly staff. I have eaten at Three Stags quite a few times and always impressed by the quality of food and service.

30th December 13:15hrs. Food appalling, couldn't cut the steak let alone eat it. The steak and Doom pie would be better titled sludge and Doom pie. How the waiting on staff manage to be so pleasant and polite when they have to deliver such appalling food baffles me

This is a pleasant pub. We, 11 of us , were so hungry after a great walk. The food is a typical pub menu, fish and chips, steak pie, sausage and mash etc.The good thing is you can have two meals for £10. The portions are a decent size and served hot! You choose from the menu and order from... More

To be fair the visit to the restaurant was during the very busy Christmas period and it is only the experience of two people eating the same dish that has led to this review. The dish was the steak and ale pie - the meat was very poor quality - largely fat and gristle - with no real cubes of... More
