A nice welcoming pub with friendly staff. Nice to sit outside in the summer and look out over the river. Not far from the high street. There is a big function room for party's and the like. Live music on a Friday.

Hope to see you back in the summer!

A little expensive but the location makes it worth the extra. Service a little chaotic as one station for food and another for drinks, this was not obvious.

Stop here for a light lunch with family, service and prices were fair for the meal and drinks. Locate just outside Promenade park, just short distance from Maldon museum, in Church Street.

Pleasant venue and location. Good seafood but not all local and quite expensive. Good service and kept really tidy.

Took my Auntie for Sunday lunch today. We ordered Roast beef and Roast lamb. The beef was fine but the veg were not cooked - rock hard carrots and broccoli! My aunt left most of the lamb as it was very fatty. We’ve had Sunday...More

That's a shame about your roast, I hope you made a member of staff aware? If not we would have sorted out the problems at the time for you. Our kitchen team are exactly that, there is no one member of staff responsible. Maybe just...More

We serve fresh homecooked food and seafood all day, all year round. We often have music and charity events which are great fun for all the family. We cater for large groups, walking groups or parties and functions for up to 50 people and have the Barn Eatery which is often used for private functions.
