Popped in to the Queens Head in this lovely part of the country as we'd heard they do a Sunday roast until 4pm which was ideal for us. Such a friendly welcome from the new owners and staff, who are gradually restoring the premises, including...More

This is the epitome of an English country pub. Oak beams, low ceilings, and oozing with character. Good pub grub, beer and snacks. A warm welcome awaits. Highly recommended!

Lovely friendly place. The room wasn't touched though during my stay of a week here. I had to ask for tea and coffee top ups and my bin wasn't emptied. Room could have done with a total blitz of a clean before hand but was...More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst meeting our new granddaughter Esme. On arrival a decent size car park. Couldn't immediately check in as the only staff on that day was making a toasties for another customer. Taken to our room and it was fine but...More

We stayed here for a night as a stop over and enjoyed the experience. It is a friendly and cosy little pub, which the community is running whilst Fullers attempt to get a new landlord. The bedroom, in an old stable block next door, was...More
