Location and contact

Slaley Rose and Crown is a grade 2 listed building and is owned and operated by the community which it serves. It is currently the only community owned pub/restaurant in the North East. We guarantee you a warm welcome and will serve you with freshly cooked, locally sourced food prepared in house by our expert Head Chef. We are a Freehouse and stock a good range of beers, real ales, wines, spirits, soft drinks etc. We have comfortable recently refurbished B&B letting rooms and are currently working on a flat which we propose to rent as holiday accommodation. Please phone for details. We are situated in the heart of the Northumberland countryside and enjoy spectacular views to the rear.

Excellent English country pub evening meal - lovely welcome, friendly staff, cosy log fire on a wintry evening and the food was excellent. What you would expect from an English pub and more! We would definitely recommend.

The Sunday lunch my husband & I had was the best we have had for a long time. The meat was lean and plentiful and the selection of vegetables cooked to perfection. We will certainly be returning.
