About
Slaley Rose and Crown is a grade 2 listed building and is owned and operated by the community which it serves. It is currently the only community owned pub/restaurant in the North East. We guarantee you a warm welcome and will serve you with freshly cooked, locally sourced food prepared in house by our expert Head Chef. We are a Freehouse and stock a good range of beers, real ales, wines, spirits, soft drinks etc. We have comfortable recently refurbished B&B letting rooms and are currently working on a flat which we propose to rent as holiday accommodation. Please phone for details. We are situated in the heart of the Northumberland countryside and enjoy spectacular views to the rear.

Had a brilliant meal here when staying at Slayley Hall hotel. Great service, lovely home made pie with lots of gravy, perfect for a Yorkshire lass. Highly recommended. Great quality and value with lovely friendly service.

I can always count on the rose and crown for the best roast gammon with chips, cherry tomatoes, Mushrooms, Egg, and pineapple. It's a lovely community place.
