We visited the cafe for a birthday lunch. The service was great with friendly staff. We had the roasted vegetable salad and slow cooked lamb shoulder. Both dishes were delicious! The menu is extensive with great vegetarian options. Thanks for a fantastic lunch!

Hubby and I met a friend here for lunch recently. We loved walking thru the gallery to get to the cafe, and checking out the artworks in the garden. It was fairly busy at lunchtime, but not crowded. It took quite some time to get...More

Thanks for your review, and we value customer feedback. Our chef remembers you as the lovely group on the 4th of April where she commented on your friend Michele's fabulous haircut. I'm pleased we were able to meet your time requirements, and we are always...More

We just love coming to the Palette Cafe for brunch and lunch and have given it rave reviews before. On our last visit, I ordered for the first time the fig, roasted beetroot, orange and blue cheese salad and it was totally delicious! (The seafood...More

This pleasant intimate cafe in the Beaver Galleries continues to attract a strong following, especially amongst locals. The menu is interesting and varied, as is the wine list - although we thought the glasses were a bit over-priced. Having lunched here several times over the...More

Excellent food and service. The menu was amazing with so many options- all of which looked yummy! The lamb was delicious and the wine selection was good too. Vegetarian and gluten free options were tempting and the bread and butter pudding was divine. I think...More

Thanks for your lovely review, and we're very proud of the chef's extensive menu. The secret with the bread and butter puddings is that they're made with croissants (shhh ... don't tell anyone). We hope to see you back at the café again soon.

I tried the Palette in desperation after finding perhaps better known places nearby packed out with slow customers receiving slower service, and queues to be seated. I found the place empty, ordered a snack then, realising how hungry I was, enquired after the wait for...More

We're so glad you gave us a try. Although we're not famous for speed (everything is prepared fresh on-site from scratch), we can help if customers are in a hurry. The fish and chips is a great choice. If you're interested in the weekend brunch...More
