Whilst the variety of drinks and food is good, the staff are rude and mean. We spent $60 on food and drink. We asked for two takeaway containers. They insisted we pay $1 extra or we couldn’t leave. Unnecessary. The ladies who work there are...awful. Won’t be back. Better value elsewhere.More

We were filling in time prior to our NSW TrainLInk train departing for Melbourne so ate dinner here. The waiters were dressed in black, not orange and were pleasant. The honey chicken came as a very generous portion for $15 and included some lettuce, a...tomato slice and grated carrot, plus a large cup of rice. The salt'n'pepper chicken at a similar price also included a small soup. The first was an excellent dish, the second a very good one. Toilets could do with refurbishment but apart from that, everything was fine. Table water was supplied free (as one expects in Australia), serviettes were available and payment was quick, although the 1.5 per cent credit card surcharge was high. This branch is close to the Sydney Light Rail (tram routes L2/L3) and a very easy walk from Central Railway Station and hotels such as The Ultimo.More

My Mum and I stopped in here for dinner last week. I ordered the beef vermicelli noodle and my Mum ordered the pho with tofu, both meals were ready within 10 minutes and were large portions. I really enjoyed mine especially with the chilli I...added. I’d return.More

Gia Hoi isn’t the fanciest place but these simple surroundings provide really tasty food in big servings. It’s worth a visit and there was plenty more to the menu than what we had. Next time we’ll explore even more. We have a write up with...pictures on our personal blogwhich can be found on our profileMore

Nice to find a good pho spot here down under. We came upon this spot after a bit of internet searching. It was quite busy for a late afternoon, a good sign for a good hotpot and lots of Asians inside, made it look more...legit. We all got the beef pho, it was tasty as usual, a nice soup base broth. The usual veggies to make it more balance and the sriracha, hoisin and chili to make it even more flavorful.More

Went with overseas visitors who are heavily inclined to South East Asians taste buds. Service quite efficient despite a busy lunch hours. We ordered 2 beef pho & 1 chicken pho. Food was ready in less than 10 min. Minimum herbs/bean sprouts probably most diners...don't take them but I love plenty of herbs. Compared to Pho Ann, the portion and taste are on the lighter scale.More

Came here for a lovely heartwarming pho and that's exactly what I got. Priced at 13AUD, the rare beef pho will not disspoint as it packs a lunch of flavour and warms you up. Furthermore the beef is indeed rare, slightly pink and delicious, also...chilli is available on the table to make it spicy.More

We stopped at this place on a whim as we were exploring the area and began to get hungry. Can’t say we were disappointed- in fact, the portion size of the chicken pho was very good! Almost couldn’t finish it all. My friend ordered the...crispy pork and rice which was also very good. Service was great and the food took less than 10 minutes to arrive after we ordered! I would highly recommend this place! It’s got a great location and is close to multiple public transit options!More
