The restaurant had an interesting entrance via the old wooden lift at the end of the old Strand Arcade. We were greeted but then left standing whilst the lady who'd greeted us attended to people who'd apparently arrived before us, although we didn't see them and there wasn't, as far as we could see, another entrance. Four of us ordered... More

Many of the staff have an authentic Italian accent and the restaurant menu supports this. The servings were small but sufficient, fresh and full of flavour. The value was good.

Great atmosphere, great fit-out, great staff and most importantly great food. All the staff are delightful and helpful, the food is delicious, I loved every dish and can't wait to go back to order more! The Aperol Spritzes are the best I've ever had

After this restaurant appeared as one of the top in Sydney, my friend and I went in with high hopes. The lady at the front desk was attentive and pleasant when we arrived late due to torrential rain. We were offered 'some water' when we sat down which we always take but were given a bottle of expensive still water... More

Food was nice but the waiters were more interested in setting the tables for the next day. Three times we had to ask to order, coffee, the bill... They were not the slightest bit interested in looking after you!

An early evening dinner here for a small group recently on a hot day so the place was rather empty. Obviously we received excellent attention from waitstaff for the few hours we dined on fine Italian flavours - not your neighborhood italian so prices on the higher side of average. Fine selections of meals, aperitifs & wines to choose from.

They have the French system down pat. Entree and a main with a glass of vin rouge for $55. Outstanding elevation of artisanal Italian cooking to fine-dining status. Its location is CBD perfect,

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
