Has been amazing service, fantastic food and managed to arrange a table for 10 at the last minute. We had the banquet and could not fault it.

AMAZING Lebonese cuisine on the rocks, cold called in a large group and not a problem. Beautiful dips and a magic banquet

We went before a show without a booking, however they went to the trouble to find a table for us. As we were on a time limit we went Tapas and were not disappointed. The serves are quite large and we had one too many ,however will know next time. The vegetables were outstanding , the lamb shells a little overcooked and... More

Is Lebanese the most innovative cuisine in the world? Nope. But who cares when the cooking is this good? This was our third visit to El Phoenician at Walsh Bay, and there has to be a reason why people go back to a restaurant again and again - in this case, it's Lebanese classics done very well. Kibbeh had a... More

Ordered a banquet & only got one prawn, one oyster, one spring roll faux crab thing, a few calamari rings, one hard pastry shell thing, one lamb skewer, one chicken skewer & some pita bread & dip & it costed us $85 per person!!!! No desert as well, that wasn't very much of a banquet!!! Incredibly overpriced & the food... More

Pre-theatre dinner. Efficiently served. Shared 3 items - waitress was concerned we might not have enough food, but we were very satisfied. Baba ganoush - excellently smokey, breads on the table when we arrived. Kofta with potatoes and sauces: huge portion satisfied two of us easily, very nice flavours. Tabbouli: again a large portion, tasty and healthy. Good value.

Went last night with my Lebanese husband and guests from Brisbane, one of whom is Lebanese. The main courses were terrific and the staff, atmosphere, service etc was great. The desserts however were VERY disappointing. I ordered "Ladies Arms"...a kind of rolled pasty with a cream inside, which are then supposed to be deep fried then soaked in a honey... More

After so many recommendations over the years to visit the sister restaurant at parramatta I finally got a chance to experience the city establishment. I loved there pre dinner platter. It consisted of moorish dips , cheese , olives and gorgeous chicken and lambs skewers that were melt in the mouth flavoursome bites. Would love to experience this again shortly... More

Pretty good service. Not impressed that they kept an $8 tip without bothering to return the change to the table first! About the food, the kofta was great meat and taste. Bit gross in how huge each piece was, like a big steak. The falafels were absolutely the worst in Australia, over cooked and a dark grey (probably in old... More
