Really quick paced restaurant. Food was incredibly tasty and portion sizes generous. Great value meal and can see why it's so popular! Both the stir fry beef in oyster sauce and Thai red curry were incredible.

Food was mixed - some dishes good (curry puffs, green chicken curry, pork salad) but others just ok. All food comes out at once and very quickly so best to order entrees first and then mains after you finish entrees. Waited about 15 mins for table which was fine but quite warm once inside. Cost is reasonable and quantities generous.... More

Went with 9 others. Clean, fast and very busy. The lunch menu is pretty good. The Pad Thai was good and was a generous serving - $11. Worth a visit.

I dined here twice on recent business trip to Sydney. The pork neck entree and beef massanun curry were the pick of all the dishes we tried. Give the steamed dim sims a miss there are better places to get these. Service is quick and on busy nights you will queue. Tables for two are easier than group. First time... More

Get in early for dinner, otherwise you need to line up Despite the queue I was provided a table after 10min wait with 10 others in front of me Atmosphere of the place is vibrant, lots of chatter, service is great, staff quickly attend to your needs Had the steamed dim sum, followed by the Pad Thai and both dishes... Visited Home Thai on TripAdvisor's recommendation and we were not disappointed.... I cook a lot of Thai and this place excelled... the steamed dumplings to start with were gorgeous, 5 big ones.... I then had the Thai green chicken curry which was fantastic... the portions are huge so be warned not to over order... the pad Thai was delicious too...... More

Went here with the family on our last night in the Big Smoke. No bookings. Turn up take a number and wait your turn for a table. If you want wine make sure you BYO (there is a bottle shop down the road). Don't let the casual, noisy atmosphere put you off. Best thai tucker I have had for a... More

It was busy for dinner but only waited for 10 minutes to get a seat. The food taste was excellent and hits the spot for what I was craving....chicken laab and papaya w/ crabs. Worth trying if you love Thai food.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
