We visited zushi after being referred by a friend. We did enjoy our visit, the sashimi plate was fresh and tasty. The teriyaki salmon was also great. The downside was it was very pricey. Would we go back again, maybe. There are so many Japanese places now you really need to be doing something great to stand out.

Went there a while ago and wasn't that impressed but tried again this weekend. Had sake and Italian wine to go with edamame, sashimi deluxe, and the teriyake beef. The sashimi was fine, the beef less so (fat not properly trimmed). Service was good but overall, given how pricey the place is, it was not exactly memorable or re-inviting. I... More

Highlights were the dessert and the attentiveness of the staff. Lowlights: Fish tempura and some of the fish on the sashimi plate (such as the deep sea trevally) were not the freshest. The rainbow roll was also nothing extraordinary.

One of the more upmarket sushi places in Surry Hills. The food is good, service is good, but a little pricey particularly sitting outside in the shrubbery with bugs and mosquitoes.

Went to Zushi late night on a Friday and was completely blown away by the place. Upstairs/downstairs dinning. The place was pretty packed but we were lucky enough to squeeze in along the front overlooking the kitchen. Very friendly waiters and happy chefs working away in the kitchen. Ordered the Duck special and the Sashimi tacos. Both came out presented... More

I love this place and have been coming here for a years now. The service is great, the food is amazing and the restaurant is super cute. I ventured down to the new Barangaroo zushi which opened recently and was a little bit disappointed. The menu was same same but different and not in a good way. The food definitely... More

Dined twice here and both times enjoyed the high quality of the food, the wide-ranging selections on offer and the excellent service.
