We were staying the night at "Rydges World Square",and stumbled upon this busy little Japanese eatery...what a delight! Looking through the front window,we could tell the food was going to be good and authentic, by the number of Asian patrons in the cafe. We did not have a booking and the place was very busy, however the young waitress found... More

I had very high expectations of Miso, because of the high ratings on Foursquare and general buzz surrounding it. I just found the food to be okay. Not particularly fresh. The bento box has novelty value, but leans on the expensive side.

Miso Japanese restaurant is located in World Square with its entrance near Pitt Street. The restaurant has a clean and minimalistic decor and offers Japanese "Teishoku" (i.e., dinner sets which includes a main dish, miso soup, rice, and pickles). Miso offers a large variety of Pork/Chicken/Chicken-Combo Teishoku and Bento boxes. The food is authentic and tastes excellent; I would say... More

Had dinner here with friends and loved it. It's such a small and casual little place in Market City but they have a great menu - and exactly the range of bento boxes that I absolutely love. Reasonably priced too for the food quality and serving sizes. Highly recommended for a low key meal.

We came here for a quick bite before our show starts at Capitol Theatre on a Wednesday night. I arrived at 6pm and there were plenty of tables available. We are a party of 4 but everyone was running 15 mins late, so I checked with the waitress at the door and see if I could be seated inside. She... More

Thought to beat the crowd by coming before they open, realized i aint so smart after all as a small queue has formed at the entrance 😝 No worries as this joint runs like a well oiled machine, front and back. Which means that you dont have to wait for too long even if there is a queue. The day... More

Had to wait for 15-20 minutes, but worth the wait. Food and drink selection good. Simple and yet nice ambience, courteous and speedy service.

Quite possibly my favourite Japanese restaurant in Sydney. Great bento sets to choose from, especially if you like pork cutlets, unagi, sashimi or Japanese curry you can't really go wrong here. My only gripe is the service slips when they get busy which is almost every night after 7pm.

I have been to Miso a number of times and I have never been dissapointed. There is a large variety of meals and bento boxes available at a reasonable price.
