The most delicious meal we have had in Sydney for a long, long time. We had the tasting menu, which was course after course of total flavour bombs. The highlight being the duck and snapper, with a bottle of beautiful french wine. A bargain night for $250 too. Kylie even acknowledged us as we left and said thank you. But... More

We ate at this newly relocated restaurant within the first few weeks after the move from Surry Hills to Potts Point and, to be honest, were not impressed with either the food or the service. Now that they have settled in and based on the advice of a number of trusted acquaintances and the place's obvious popularity we decided to... More

This restaurant in the heart of Sydney is an attractive, welcoming place. Friends advised us to try the chef's meal which is a 7 course offering. I'm glad we did because we were served dishes I never would have picked out. I really liked most of it but was definitely excited to have tried all of it. I am gluten... More

Awesome Chinese food served up by Kylie Kwong and her crew! Everything that we ordered was perfect. All the dumplings were to die for! The fried rice was the best ever! Fried eggs and shallots - yummy! Sang choy bow , chicken and everything else that was ordered all made to perfection - what else do you expect from a... More

Integrity. Everything is done with excellence, care and thoughtfulness. Kylie Kwong is an Australian living treasure. Her recipe books are my kitchen staples. Going to her restaurant lets me be part of her celebration of and commitment to indigenous vegetable varieties and locally sourced food. Plus the staff are a cut above. There are lots of them and I feel... More

Small but perfectly formed - that is Billy Kwong's restaurant in McLeay Street Potts Point to a tee. With Kylie working 'the pass' and using her clap-sticks to effect (and, a little jarringly, for me and the other patrons), we were seated adjacent to the kitchen and were treated to a superb display of kitchen skills by the team of... What an experience just the most delicious food eaten at the bar watching a theatrical production. I have never eaten Chinese food at such a level of perfection, Kylie Kwong thank you. The crew were like a precision military division and all helpful and knowledgeable. A Sydney highlight for us

We have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years and finally managed to do so and we were not disappointed. We opted for the seven course tasting menu and each dish was fantastic and complemented each other brilliantly. Our favourites were the entree pork buns and the orange duck as the main. Place was flat out busy but the... More

Fairly late Friday night (after a movie), a restaurant table around Kings Cross was not easy to come by. We hadn’t been to Billy Kwong since the move from Surry Hills to Potts Point; however, the restaurant is now MUCH bigger and a table was available after a short wait. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, with useful suggestions about... More

We visited on a Saturday night for dinner. We had a reservation for 8:15pm. Reservations prior to 8pm have a 2 hour limit. I definitely suggest making a reservation as the restaurant was vibrant, busy and obviously very popular. We've been wanting to try the food here for a long time and though we were disappointed that no wallaby was... More
