My lovely hubby took me to this restaurant for my birthday because I absolutely love fish and as usual he didn't let me down. I had the snapper fillet with a beautiful curry sauce which was divine. We also had amazing dishes for entrees: oysters, asa elite caviar and split tiger prawns. We finished up with raspberry soufflé and coconut parfait... More

Well if you like seafood with a great view this is the place for you.. The service was great and the staff helpful. The view is excellent and you can't beat Sydney harbour on a beautiful day. It's far enough from the busy city to add to the atmosphere and help you relax.. If you get there early have a... More

My husband and I craved seafood one night and decided to eat at Flying Fish. It was a very hot day in Sydney and when we arrived a few minutes early, we couldn't go in the restaurant itself as they were still busy getting ready. We had to sit in the sun, as all the shady spots were taken. It... More

We have dined before and expected a similar high standard but... Unfortunately a busy hot Saturday night when their air con didn't perform and the staff where so busy their standard of attention was lacking. We had a small table ordering degustation with matching wines that unfortunately didn't make the grade to match the bill. Four different fish servings with... More

Located out on a pier looking back at Sydney Harbor. Seafood was excellent, fresh and delicious. Great service, lovely dinner. Felt more like a local establishment then in the bustle of the tourists in the harbor. Well worth the cab ride.

My wife like this restaurant very much, once she is happy, all things will be good. It is not easy to find it, we walked though the old industrial building and rail track. It turn out all our efforts pay back. The Oyster may be expensive but really good. We tried so many Oyster in Sydney, this restaurant is really... More

We began with a cocktail on the deck, sitting on couches with the sun sinking slowly on the horizon as pleasure boats and tugs sailed past. In the shadow of super yachts we relaxed and enjoyed our drinks before going upstairs to dine. The service at Flying Fish is exemplary; you're made to feel like royalty. The food is of... More

I went there with my friends and parents for a lunch in December. The place has an amazing location: overviewing the Darling Harbour, the Rocks and the Bridge. On top of that the fish dishes we selected were simply excellent. A bit pricy but worth it!!

Our first time at Flying Fish was last year when we visited Sydney for our Chinese New Year holiday. We kept the tradition and booked this year as well. Last year was so amazing I introduced my friends to go visit. This year was so disappointing that we probably won't be going back again. It was very promising as the... More

Today we visited Flying Fish for lunch & made an early booking to make the most of the beautiful day. We parked at the Star but you can park for 2 hours out the front of the restaurant which would have been better. The menu was extensive, mainly seafood & the wine list very good. I had the Tiger Prawn... More
