We had never eaten Polish food before coming to Na Zdrowie and we were a bit worried about what to expect. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. The horseradish is a must try! The sausage was great and the selection of beers were good. We were very happy to try something different and it didn't disappoint.

My partner and I occasionally visit this place just love the food. The sausage is just to die for and the cocktails are great.... and to easy to drink. :-) This isn't a large restaurant so book ahead.

Yes, they speak Polish. We had the bigos, golabki, and Zywiec. Reservations are recommended, but they took us as we came in early.

I am from a Polish family, and I went with my mum, who hadn't had traditional Polish food in years since my Grandfather died. My mum spent the meal in the thralls of ecstacy, telling us how all this dishes reminded her of her youth and tasted exactly how my Grandfather used to make it. Also love the use of... More

What a fantastic place, so good we went Friday and Saturday night !! The food is traditional, flavoursome and excellent value for money. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Yes, it is a small place but this adds to the atmosphere, its warm and cosy, just what you want on a Winters evening. Cannot praise... More

This is an authentic Polish restaurant. The staff speak Polish and the food is excellent! For entree I had the cheese and potato pierogi. They are homemade and delicious. For my main I had the Golabki (cabbage rolls). They were also delicious. Even though I was full I couldn't resist trying the Nalesnik – Crepe stuffed with plum povidel and... More

The place was so small and so loud we could hardly hear each other. The table we sat at was that small 4 people could not place a plate for each on the table at the same time. As for food... portions were extremely small even for me, a person who usually can't finish a meal. Wedliny, a platter of... More

This is the perfect place to come for a really good traditional Polish meal, especially on those cold winter nights when all you want is warm comfort food. The restaurant is warm and cosy - small, but perfectly capable of hosting big groups. The food is just delicious. The Polish fish (Ryga) was outstanding - a huge portion of really... More

5 stars to this restaurant for second delicious and traditional polish food. Yum yum! Na Zdrowie! Dobrze! Of course the pierogi was the reason I came, and they lived up to my expectations. But my favourite meal was the delicious Sernik. Highly recommended

Thank Julie B

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
