Staying in the city for the night decided to treat my wife to a fancy meal. Started at the bar, friendly staff, ordered 2 cocktails, my wife's was good mine was a little lacking in the spirits. Seated to our table by a nice young man (waiter) I ordered medium rare steak with sides of vegetables. Our meals were served.... More

We went to Glass B for our 25th wedding anniversary expecting to have to spend a little more and hoping it would be a lovely night. And it was, we had a glass of champagne at the bar on arrival, then shown to our table. Wine and food waiter were very friendly knowledgeable. The wine list is very extensive and... More

A huge reputation of a 5 star restaurant, even the PM ducked in for a bite However, in comparison to others in the same class there is room for improvement The wine was not explained by an experienced sommelier and for the first time, 2 out of 2 tastings were very average The vegetables and taste were average Overall food... Went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday.the coffee was cold the buffet average. Had to hassel to order an omlett which came half raw. Our guests left most of the buffet on thier plate. Lots of choice but low quality. Not worth $44 per head. If you want a hotel buffet breakfast choose another.

Great chips and good food with fusion flavours of east and west and good service. Can't fault it and the decor is nice. No views but hey that's not an issue

Only popped in here for a few drinks while at a work conference, the atmosphere was nice with a great view of the QVB. The service from the bar staff was excellent and the red wine was top quality. There was a good range of drinks on offer. I didn't get to experiance the food but I would like to,... More

Went here for a business lunch. Venue was nice and quiet. Food was a little underwhelming but very well presented. Great environment though.

We had lunch at the bar overlooking QVB. The service was amazing, waiting staff were prompt, polite, and very obliging. I hadn't seen this in a while. Food selection was good, we got the fish burger and fish and chips. These were what made it 4/5 instead of 5/5. The dishes could have been tastier, in the sense that they... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
