We recently visited Kingley's Australian Steakhouse for the first time, and found it to be an excellent steakhouse restaurant. A short walk from Wynyard Station, Kingsley's is located in a little laneway off King Street. We had an early booking, so the restaurant was not crowded. The atmosphere is very inviting and quaint. Our table was positioned in the back... More

Went there with14 other colleagues for a farewell. Had a pre booked menu which meant we were seated downstairs. The food and wine was great. The steak was cooked to perfection and the oysters were fresh. Service was with a smile and the wine glass was never feeling 'not loved'... highly recommend...

Our first time to this lovely, although a little hard to find, restaurant. It's for beef lovers for sure. Everything was done to perfection, including the sides. We had the green beans with almonds and the mushrooms. Attentive yet not intrusive service made it the perfect evening.

Hidden down an alley close to the corner of King & Sussex is the Kingsley steak house. Great wine choices, wide selection of tender, perfectly cooked steaks, with excellent service to boot. There may be a better steakhouse, but I haven't found it after two weeks of eating in the CBD, the rocks, or Darling harbor. Just a very well... More

Kingsley's Steakhouse in the CBD is a steak oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and has an old world club style feel to it. The service staff are friendly and knowledgeable and can guide you through the menu with ease. Great range of steaks on offer and my favourite is... More

Ok, so make no mistake about it the food here was really really good. My steak was cooked to perfection and the kitchen did well accommodating my annoying dietary requirements (no salt). The waitress however acted like even speaking to us was a complete inconvenience and actually at one point I am sure she rolled her eyes but I was... More

Initially we thought it was a great place for couples, functions, groups and families. How wrong were we! My cousin and his wife were told by management to keep their innocent child quiet due to a nearby couple complaining. The manager stated they were paying customers, wanting a nice night out and the couple wanted the manager to tell my... More

My husband and I were in Sydney for just one night after coming off a cruise and happened to come across Kingsleys in our search for a place to eat dinner. We seemed to have lucked out as we arrived early in the evening, but as our dinner went on, they were extremely busy, and my suggestion would be that... More

Hi! Thanks for the review, great to hear you enjoyed your evening with us despite a couple of mix ups, these things do unfortunately happen on very busy evenings from time to time but I'm glad it didn't ruin your experience. We love the Creme Brulee and glad you did to. The whisky you can only get in the airport... More

This was my first visit to Kingsley and heard only good things, so had high expectations. I wasn't disappointed, the steaks were fantastic. The services was very good and overall looking forward to going back again already 😀

Enjoyed a busy Saturday night atKingsleys. The meat was cooked exactly how it was asked for, was tasty and tender. Food took a long time to come out but was well worth the wait. Staff had slight autopilot dialogue but were courteous and professional. Would come back.

Thank Kate R
