The food, ambience and service are delightful. It´s worth a visit anytime but the evenings are particularly wonderful, sitting outside in the quirky gazebo.

Who would have thought a high-quality Vietnamese restaurant could exist in the desert, 15km from Alice Springs in the middle of nowhere? Well, it does. Vietnamese gates and a Buddhist shrine greet the visitor, who has a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. The table settings are basic, but well spaced and comfortable. We were lucky enough to dine here... More

It is well worth the trip out to the restaurant. The owners started by establishing a market garden when they arrived in Alice. Since then they have set up a Vietnamese restaurant which is about 20 minute from the town centre. The food was so fresh and delicious - they have done a great job you would think you were... More

We'd heard great things about this quirky restaurant from locals and we're really looking forward to the experience. The location, although out of town, is brilliant. A shrine - brilliantly lit greets guests as they walk from the car park. The out- door area looks brilliant for a warm evening. The in-side area looked very tired. Our young male waiter... More

Although the restaurant is a distance from town and you need either a designated driver or to catch a taxi ($35-40) each way. The food and service make up for this. Try the steamboat its amazing!! with the smells wafting through the dining area of lemongrass and other spices you close your eyes you could be in Vietnam. With so... More

This restaurant was a huge surprise. About 10km out of town on the road to the airport is this fabulous Vietnamese restaurant. They grow a large selection of fresh vegetables on their land that they obviously use in their food. Not the cheapest place but well worth it in our opinion. We had entree, 2 mains, fried rice, 3 glasses... More

Was told about this restaurant by a friend and decided to seek it out, even though a fair way out of town (almost back to the airport!). We really enjoyed our meal - fresh and crunchy vegetables with a lovely mix of flavours. We had fresh rice paper rolls, tofu with lemongrass and vegetables and a fabulous Vietnamese style salad... We hired a car to travel out of Alice Springs to visit this restaurant. We checked the open times for lunch - 12:00 to 2:00, we arrived at 1:15 and was told the kitchen was closed. We had to get a Devonshire tea to see us through at The Ghan Museum, which was delightful. If you plan to visit the... More

This restaurant is a must-visit when you are in Alice. A drive out of town finds you wondering is you took a wrong turn - but the restaurant is suddenly there - with familiar Vietnamese trappings (statues, paper lanterns etc...) sitting in harmony with the red central Australian dirt. The food is authentic and there are lots of Vegetarian options.... More

Woohoo...as a Vietnamese could travel this far and found it in town. Although it isn't as good as in home country but overall it's really good for one who was away from home more than 3 months
