We had a very yummy lunch here recently. The food is fabulous, though it is now more of a restaurant that does lunch than a tea house cafe. The gardens are still beautiful. 4 stars

Bridges Cafe is located at Mt Uncle Distillery and was built in 2007 by the Watkins family using the salvaged timber of the Walsh River Bridge located just outside Mareeba. At Bridges Cafe we take great pride in providing healthy, wholesome food. All of our menu items are lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients and are all home-made on premise. We offer a good range of meals including vegetarian and gluten free options alongside a delicious range of teas, coffee and cold drinks. We are fully licensed and air conditioned and serve wonderful wood fired pizzas, delicious deserts and cakes. The grounds are also home to many beautiful animals including alpacas, donkeys, and goats not to mention the 42 peacocks roaming around the grounds.
